About GuitarMore:
The GuitarMore system of guitar instruction is based on an emphasis of using easy-to-understand, every day words, and some simple photos and diagrams rather than initially exposing the student, to complex musical terms and musical theory that can intimidate and confuse a beginner.
The GuitarMore lesson method uses a system of numbering the strings and notes on the written sheet of music to help you learn to read music and play guitar.
In this course, you will learn how to play the guitar with information in each lesson that can be used at all skill levels and genres of music. Much of the information in this learning method applies to both the acoustic guitar and the electric guitar.
There will also be instruction that pertains specifically to playing the acoustic guitar or the electric guitar, such as playing specific types of chords or licks that are commonly played on both instruments.
After you learn some basic guitar playing skills from the lessons, you can improve these skills and take them to the next higher level of proficiency as a guitarist and musician, from the Learn Music Section, where music theory is presented in an understandable way.
Learning to play the guitar is an enjoyable and rewarding experience.
Study, practice and learn everything you can from these online video lessons.
Visit other websites to gain additional information and learning.
Even though there are a lot of similarities in every guitar learning system, each instructor offers different insights, playing experiences and techniques.
Learn as many of these things as you can from each instructor.
Doing so will help you develop and broaden your own musical knowldege and playing skills as a guitarist and musician, and will help you develop your own unique playing style.
One of the goals of this course is to teach you, the guitarist, to be a musician, rather than an instrumentalist; that is, a person who loves to create and play music on the guitar by ear or from a written page of music.
As it is mentioned later in this website, to play the guitar, you only need to know how to do three things:
1) How to play a note
2) When to play the note and
3) What note to play.
It sounds too simple, but that’s all there is to it when analyzed in its most basic essence. Watch each video lesson, read the lesson text and learn the chording diagrams and you will quickly learn how to play the guitar.
